This is the 10th country to feature the Coolbet brand.

GAN has launched its Coolbet brand within Mexico’s regulated market through an agreement with a locally licensed partner. The brand is now live in 10 countries.

Sports fans throughout Mexico will have access to programming and betting options for several notable Mexican and LatAm sporting events, including Formula 1 racing, 2023 Mexico Open, MLB Mèxico, Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana and Recopa Sudamericana.

GAN is a North American technology solutions provider and supplies internet gaming software to US land-based casinos. Its brand is also prominent in the Latin American and European markets.

GAN acquired Coolbet at the end of 2021. The company developed GAN Sport using Coolbet technology that has been tailored for the US market.

GAN President of B2C Endre Nesset explained the company’s goals and expectations upon entering Mexico’s regulated market.

Nesset commented: "We are thrilled to be live and operating in the regulated Mexican market and bringing the Coolbet brand to local players.

“We expect our share of the market to grow over time, but initially we expect both investment spend and revenue to be modest, as we gain familiarity with the market.”

Nesset went on to add that the company is excited about future collaborations with its local partners.

He concluded by saying: “Thus far, our planned launch in Mexico has been asset-light, with limited marketing spend focused on targeted social media and digital campaigns and plans to sponsor Mexican athletes and streamers to drive awareness. We look forward to supporting our local partners as we grow our presence in this exciting market.”
