The two companies said a product rollout is scheduled for early 2023.

Scout Gaming Group (SGG) has signed an agreement with Cartola, a Brazilian fantasy sports operator. The two will work together to deliver fantasy sports products to fans in the region, which include both Daily Fantasy and Fantasy Sports.

The duo said it plans to begin releasing new products in Brazil during the first quarter of next year, which is good news for fantasy sports fans.

SGG Acting CEO Niklas Jönsson said the company is excited to partner with Cartola.

Jönsson commented: “To get the opportunity to deliver all of our Daily Fantasy (DFS) and Fantasy Sports (FS) products to a new partner on the Brazilian market who is changing supplier to SGG feels very positive. We are looking forward to the coming cooperation.”

Cartola is owned by DFS Entretenimento Ltda.

Scout Gaming Group is based in Sigtuna, Sweden. It “offers a flexible and customizable network-based platform with support for most sports and leagues through an in-house StatCenter which also provides real-time information to players.”

The company has development and operations in Bergen, Norway and Lviv, Ukraine.

Brazil continues to serve as an area for gaming market expansion.

Another recent distribution partnership expanded between SCCG Management and TV sports data provider Ronin Sports to include distribution in Brazil. As part of the amended agreement, SCCG will maintain its role as a “strategic business partner.”

The two companies have previously worked together on North American content distribution. Within the Brazilian sports market, SCCG will “provide insights, business development, and advisory services to grow the company.”
