IGT’s Canada Solutions ULC subsidiary has signed an agreement with Loto-Québec to extend its current partnership for another five years. As part of the amended deal, Loto-Québec will have access to IGT’s INTELLIGEN video lottery software, along with other “related components.”
The new agreement will span until September 2027. IGT’s updated video lottery central system will offer Loto-Québec enhanced data analytics, as well as improved network diagnostics. The company will also provide the lottery with additional support from its European Operational Center.
IGT COO, Gaming Nick Khin commented about the extension and what added benefits this will give to Loto-Québec.
Khin said: "IGT's INTELLIGEN system will offer Loto-Québec progressive tools and functionality that will help position them for future success.
"Loto-Québec will receive the most advanced updates INTELLIGEN has to offer, allowing them access to quick insight into the status of their entire VLT network."
This is the latest in a series of lottery partnerships throughout North America. IGT recently signed a deal with the Oregon Lottery to offer its video lottery account-based cashless solutions. Through its INTELLIGEN central system, IGT will deploy more than 11,500 video lottery terminals (VLTs) across the state of Oregon.
Integrating INTELLIGEN will allow the state’s lottery to create a website that gives lottery winners quick access to their prizes and a place online where residents can create lottery accounts. The central system will connect all the state’s VLTs.
The global software company has partnered with other US state lotteries to offer its players access to IGT’s portfolio of 'eInstants' library (games including crossword, bingo and slots). States with access include Georgia, Kentucky and Rhode Island.
IGT’s subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation, signed a recent deal with the Michigan Lottery. Under the terms of the agreement, IGT Global Solutions will deliver iLottery content to the Michigan Lottery through its remote gaming server.
