Both active duty and veterans will receive free perks from the ‘Rivers Salutes’ program.

Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady has announced it will be hosting a ‘Rivers Salutes’ program in honor of all active duty military and veterans.

Throughout November, guests with proof of military service will receive an exclusive Rush Rewards card that entitles them to free food, drink, gaming opportunities and other special offers.

Rivers Casino General Manager Rick Richards commented: “Rivers Casino has the utmost respect for all the men and women currently serving in the military and our veterans. Rivers Salutes is our way of showing our deepest appreciation and thanking them again for their service.”

The Rivers Salutes program will offer a multitude of benefits during November, including the aforementioned exclusive Rush Rewards card. From November 1 – November 30, all guests eligible for the program can receive this card from the Rush Rewards section of the resort.

The Rivers Salutes card can be used for special discounts and, on picking up their card for the first time, guests will be rewarded with a free slot play offer.

Other perks include ‘Free Drink Mondays,’ where guests can swipe their Rivers Salutes card at a promotional kiosk to receive a free coffee or fountain drink voucher. These vouchers are usable at Villa Italia, Flipt and Johnny’s To Go, with Villa Italia featuring ‘patriotic’ pastries with partial proceeds donated to the Veterans Community & Housing Coalition.

November will also see a 20% Veterans Day dining discount. Guests who present their Rivers Salutes card are eligible to receive 20% off their total purchase at the River’s aforementioned eateries on Friday, November 11.

From November 1 – 24, veterans will also be eligible for a $60 room rate, Sunday through Thursday, at the casino's Landing Hotel.
