The celebration will involve The Refrigerators, a cult favorite band in the Capital District.

Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady has announced it will be hosting a ‘New Year’s Eve Hollywood Bash with The Refrigerators,’ to ring in the new year. The Refrigerators are a famed band within the Capital District region of New York, known for being the ‘original’ horn-fueled party band.

The casino’s New Year’s party is aiming for the spectacular, with live music, dancing, party favors, a cash bar and a champagne toast at the stroke of midnight. The festivities will take place inside a Hollywood-themed Event Center at Rivers Casino.

Tickets are currently on presale and can be purchased through the casino’s official website. They will also be available at the casino on the day of the event, on a first come first served basis, while supplies last. Doors will open at 10PM and the revelry will continue until 1AM.

The Refrigerators are a 10-piece party band with an emphasis on horns and bass instruments. They have 30 years of experience, having performed thousands of shows throughout the entire northeast where they have garnered something of a cult status.

The Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady features a Rivers Sportsbook, which has a sports lounge, VIP club chairs and table seating, including five private booths with TV monitors. It also boasts a 53' LED video wall, along with 22 additional TV screens. The sportsbook also includes 14 betting kiosks and six staffed betting windows.

The Event Center is a short walk away from the casino gaming floor and The Landing Hotel.
