SportsGrid, a multimedia technology platform, has announced a new partnership with The Associated Press (AP) to provide sports betting coverage on the AP video platform.
Through the AP Video Hub and Newsroom platform, SportsGrid will provide daily sports betting and fantasy sports coverage to the publication. The reporting will feature real-time sports news, data, analytics and statistics.
SportsGrid's coverage includes daily odds, lines, matchups, injury reports, statistics, and news across the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college sports, golf, tennis and soccer leagues.
Video content from SportsGrid is anticipated to amplify and complement The Associated Press' sports betting offerings.
AP customers can access the SportsGrid video content which delivers pre-game odds, over/under lines, and point-spread information all with data analytics. This will also allow The Associated Press to connect advertisers with sports audiences.
In mid-September, the company announced a partnership with Sportradar, integrating SportsGrid's video and editorial content into Sportradar's data visualization tools.
SportsGrid general manager of syndication, Jason Sukhraj, commented: "The SportsGrid video content is immediately available for publisher websites and mobile applications. With the kickoff of the college and NFL regular seasons, SportsGrid's talent and analysts are uniquely qualified to provide publishers with unrivaled sports betting intelligence and insights.
Sportradar head of ads, Mike Smith, added: "The integration of SportGrid's video and editorial content with our data visualization tools creates an enhanced offering that is not only unique, but also turnkey.
"This partnership will benefit our clients by providing timely, interesting, and engaging content that will resonate with fans and bettors, alike, while simultaneously allowing publishers to further monetize their audience."
SportsGrid launched its video content management and distribution initiative in 2020.
