Canterbury Park Holding Corporation has added two members to its Board of Directors. Peter Ahn and Damon Schramm will join the board effective immediately, bringing its total membership to seven people.
As part of their duties, Ahn and Schramm will serve on one of the board’s committees. Ahn will join the audit committee, and Schramm will serve as a member of the compensation committee.
Ahn co-founded the private investment firm Hemisphere Companies in 2001 and currently serves as its CFO. He graduated from Macalester College, where he earned a BA in Economics and holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Minnesota.
Schramm currently holds a position at Togetherwork as its vice president of legal. His responsibilities include overseeing the company’s private technology and legal affairs. He holds several degrees, including a BA from the University of Minnesota – Duluth and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
Canterbury Park CEO Randy Sampson spoke highly of both Ahn and Schramm and said their expertise will be an asset to the board.

Canterbury Park Holding Corporation is based in Shakopee, Minnesota and owns and operates Canterbury Park Racetrack and Card Casino. The racetrack is Minnesota’s only thoroughbred and quarter horseracing facility, which offers live racing between the months of May and December.
