Both have worked together to create quality scratch games during their three-decade-long agreement.

Scientific Games and the South Dakota Lottery have expanded their ongoing partnership to include an agreement that gives the company rights as a sole provider of scratch games. The company will represent the state’s lottery as its exclusive instant games partner.

The duo has drafted a deal that could extend their partnership for another four years and would also include “analytics and insights, popular brands from the company’s large portfolio of licensed properties and related marketing services.”

South Dakota Lottery Executive Director Norm Lingle commented: “We’ve created great momentum with our instant game performance through our long-term partnership with Scientific Games to benefit important programs in our state.

“Our teams look forward to continued collaboration on the design and marketing of quality, secure, high-performance games that entertain South Dakota players.”

Scientific Games is certified as a Responsible Gaming Supplier by the World Lottery Association. Through its Health Play program, the company “advocates for the healthy enjoyment of lottery games.”
