Jamul Casino announces Scott Lake as Chief Marketing Officer

Lake has decades of senior experience, including with Sands China and Caesars.

Jamul Casino has recruited Scott Lake as its new Chief Marketing Officer, where he will helm its new concentrated marketing program. Lake brings with him over a quarter of a centrury of senior marketing experience having worked with prominent hotel and casino properties globally.

Scott Lake’s career includes the eight years he spent with Sands China, acting as the SVP of Loyalty Marketing & Strategic Analysis in the latter stint of his time with the company. Lake managed Sands Macao, The Londoner Macao, The Parisian Macao, The Plaza and Four Seasons Hotel Macao and The Venetian Macao.

He was in charge of executing the casinos’ marketing calendar and events, attracting a combined total of 98.2 million visitors per year. Prior to this role, Lake worked for Caesars Entertainment for 13 years where he gained more pertinent experience, working as Director for VIP Marketing and Director for National Casino Marketing.

Scott commented: "I was drawn to Jamul Casino because of the outstanding leadership of the Jamul Indian Village Tribe. I'm impressed with the way this team has been able to build this property and its brand from the ground up to become a regional leader in less than six years. I hope to help the next six years be just as extraordinary."

Opened in 2016, the Jamul Casino is located in San Diego, California and is owned and operated by Jamul Indian Village Development Corporation. The $430m casino features nearly 1,700 slot machines, 46 live table games and a poker room.
