OpenBet teams up with StatsBomb to enhance its SportCast football pricing content

The two signed the agreement in anticipation of the World Cup 2022.

OpenBet has partnered with StatsBomb ahead of the World Cup 2022, which begins in November. The two will work together to upgrade SportCast’s premium football pricing content.

Under the terms of the deal, OpenBet will integrate StatBomb’s data into its content portfolio though the SportCast product suite.

OpenBet Chief Product Officer Nikos Konstakis said: “We are delighted to form this valuable partnership with StatsBomb.

“We’ve had the modelling capability to offer these deeper betting markets for some time and now we‘ve forged an exciting data partnership to deliver an unparalleled product in time for the biggest football event in the world.”

OpenBet VP Content and SportCast Co-Founder Ryan Coombs noted the collaboration is the next step in the company’s marketing strategy.

He commented: “SportCast is renowned for leading the way with its football product offering and our customers will now be able to offer these sought-after markets in time for the World Cup.

“This is just the first in a series of upcoming enhancements to Openbet’s premium content products. It’s another step forward in our mission to ensure our customers remain at the forefront of the most engaging and responsible betting experiences across all channels.”

StatsBomb provides data collection through trained analysts and from real-time information and records gathered via AI. The company offers its data to more than 100 elite teams from 25 countries and to professional clubs around the world.
