Symeonidis has nearly two decades of sales experience, most of which in the gaming tech space.

OPTX is expanding into Canada with the latest hiring of Vice President of Sales JP Symeonidis. This marks the company's first step into international business after being founded in 2019.

OPTX co-CEO Brooke Fiumara commented: "Considering the success OPTX has had across the states, the decision to expand to Canada was a no-brainer.

"JP is the perfect puzzle piece fit for V.P. of Sales in Canada. His lengthy resume is only outweighed by the connections he has forged during his time in the gaming tech industry."

Symeonidis will work directly out of Quebec and brings nineteen years of sales experience to OPTX, sixteen of these years were spent in the gaming tech space.

Prior positions for Symeonidis include working as the Director of Sales for Amaya. During his time there he promoted the company's products across Canada, the Caribbean, and countries in both Western and Eastern Europe.

Since his time with Amaya, Symeonidis held a position with Scientific Games. However, due to the pandemic, his time with the company came to an end as Canada's economy shut down.

Symeonidis added: "I'm always there for my customers; I'm very customer driven. After sixteen years in the business, my customers are more like friends.

"I love the forward-thinking and innovative nature of OPTX. The company's focus on its product from an operational mindset to better the functionality in casinos aligns with my personal mission to streamline and optimize an industry that serves as an entertainment haven for so many."

Last month, OPTX announced a partnership with the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino to provide player development, slots and marketing.
