The computer-generated solution aims to provide operators with over 3,000 engagement opportunities each day.

As part of its multiyear partnership with the NBA, Sportradar has launched Virtual NBA, a computer-generated betting solution that plans to provide operators with over 3,000 engagement opportunities each day.

The addition of Virtual NBA will enable gaming operators to increase engagement by providing 3,000 games per day with each contest featuring twelve betting markets. Eight games are available to watch at any one time.

The technology uses actual NBA data to simulate a ‘real game’ basketball experience, the Virtual NBA betting solution is available to gaming operators globally in jurisdictions licensed for virtual sports betting.

Sportradar Managing Director of Gaming Frank Wenzig commented: "Virtual sports betting is growing in popularity with more than 200 million betting tickets accepted across Sportradar’s portfolio of virtual betting products so far this year.

"Through the introduction of Virtual NBA, featuring the names and logos of NBA teams, Sportradar is providing operators with dynamic new basketball content to drive engagement with the sport and provide fans with access to NBA betting markets, even in the off-season."

To enhance the fan experience, hyper-realistic images have been generated through motion capture technology. Data points from half-a-million games and events, player positioning and movement, were then analyzed using artificial intelligence and integrated to create the dynamic moves and shots featured in the product.

Sportradar’s eWallet Remote Game Server and Betradar Unified Odds Feed can be used to acquire Virtual NBA.

Sportradar also offers Virtual Baseball In-Play in partnership with Major League Baseball and Virtual Sports Bundesliga.

The company recently announced the addition of Virtual Cricket In-Play as well.
