Internet Vikings furthers US expansion with Iowa launch
The company has officially begun its iGaming hosting operations in the US.
The Swedish company, Internet Vikings, has begun operations in the state of Iowa. The land-based gambling scene in the state has expanded over the last 20 years.
Co-Founder and CTO Victor Jerlin of Internet Vikings commented: “As each of the US states come to recognise the massive economic benefits of a well-regulated online gaming market, our goal is to stay ahead and help businesses of all sizes to make the most of this unprecedented opportunity.”
He added: “Getting started in Iowa is another step towards moving the industry and our customers upward and onward.”
Iowa is still in process of regulating other forms of iGaming; however, online sports betting in the state has grown significantly since being legalized in March of 2019.
Internet Vikings offers its hosting abilities to both large and small operations in the state, as Iowa is considered to be notably progressive in its approach to the gambling and iGaming industry.
Co-Founder and CEO of Internet Vikings Rickard Vikström stated: “Our primary goal is to provide the support which others require in order to keep moving in this often-unpredictable industry. The US is our focal point and, with many customers in other compliant states, we are proud to have taken our next step in America.”
He continued: “Iowa is showing great promise, and we are now on the ground with all that is required to get set up with confidence and a secure partner.”
The company began its expansion into the US market last year and is looking to add more territories by the end of 2022.
