BetMGM will still represent MLB as its official sports betting partner.

MGM Resorts International and its sport betting and iGaming operator, BetMGM, have renewed and expanded an ongoing partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB). Under the terms of the amended multi-year deal, BetMGM will remain the league’s official sports betting partner.

The partnership began between MGM and MLB in 2018 and named MGM as the league’s official gaming sponsor. Through the renewed expansion, BetMGM will continue to have access to marketing and gaming opportunities across various MLB platforms, including its app portfolio, MLB Network and MLB.com.

MGM Resorts Senior Vice President of Sports & Sponsorships Lance Evans commented: "We are thrilled to extend and expand upon our groundbreaking work with Major League Baseball.

"We're incredibly proud of the growth and innovation that have transformed our industries since launching our partnership four years ago, and we're eager to continue breaking new ground and delivering world-class sports and entertainment experiences for baseball fans worldwide."

In addition to continued branding and marketing rights, the partnership will include sports betting data usage, domestic and international activations during MLB events and promotions across the league’s various platforms.

BetMGM Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost said: "It is an exciting day to announce the extension of our partnership with MLB. The collaboration with the League allows us to reach new audiences while delivering a best-in-class baseball wagering product. We look forward to growing our industries together."

BetMGM recently launched its new BetMGM Poker Championship at the Aria in Las Vegas. The event coincided with the 2022 Aria Poker Classic and is running against Caesars Entertainment’s World Series of Poker that started May 31 and will run until July 20.

BetMGM Poker has awarded at least 15 US players from each live poker market prize packages that include travel expenses, a buy-in for the BetMGM Poker Championship and a five-night stay at Aria.

Responsible gaming education remains a key focus as BetMGM continues to expand its sports betting platform to new jurisdictions. BetMGM also provides resources to help customers play responsibly.

MGM Resorts and BetMGM joined the American Gaming Association and became official partners of its “Have A Game Plan. Bet Responsibly” campaign in September 2021.
