AGS appoints David Jacques Farahi to Board of Directors

He has more than 20 years of experience in the gaming industry.

AGS has named David Jacques Farahi as the latest member of its Board of Directors. Farahi will hold a position on the company’s Nominating and Governance committee, as well as on the Compensation and Audit committee.

He began is gaming career at Monarch in 1998, after earning an MBA from Columbia Business School with concentrations in finance and real estate. Farahi also holds a BA from Northwestern University in economics and international studies.

He currently serves as both the Executive Chairman of Quick Custom Intelligence and as an Adjunct Professor at Metropolitan State University Denver. Farahi teaches an introductory course on gaming and sportsbook management there.

In addition to holding various executive positions over the years, Farahi served four terms from 2015 to 2021 with the Colorado Gaming Association as its president.

AGS President and Chief Executive Officer David Lopez commented: "David is a seasoned industry executive with extensive experience in both the gaming operator and gaming regulator space. He has a proven track record of leading teams to operational improvements, integrating and scaling a substantial acquisition, and effectively communicating with the investment community.

“We believe his strong industry experience will be extremely valuable as we continue to grow, improve our operational efficiency, and strengthen our relationships with our casino operator partners."

Farahi said he looks forward to his time on the board and commented about his respect for the company and its leadership.

He said: "I have long admired the passion, grit, and ingenuity of the AGS team. Since its inception, AGS has uniquely approached operators as a true partner, developing products from slots to table games and beyond that delight players. I'm honored to be joining their board at such an exciting time for the business.

AGS is an international company that focuses on product diversity and is rooted in the Class II tribal gaming market.
