Both companies will have access to revenue shares under the terms of the deal.

BetMakers Technology Group has signed an agreement with Penn National Gaming that will give the former rights to offer racing content, exchange wagering, fixed odds and booked bets to markets beyond the US and Canada. Content will be distributed through BetMaker’s Global Racing Network.

Penn National Gaming has awarded BetMakers rights to more than 946 race meetings per year and will allow BetMakers to distribute them to licensed wagering operators around the world, beginning July 1, 2022.

Currently, BetMakers's Global Racing Network provides international racing content to more than 30 countries. The company also offers new markets to rights holders that want to monetize their racing. Rights holders pay BetMakers a fee based on a percentage of turnover its wagering operators generate from new products.

Both BetMakers and Penn National Gaming have agreed to a revenue share arrangement under the terms of the deal. Penn will receive a minimum guarantee amount each year. The agreement began after mutual signing and will continue until the end of 2025.

BetMakers Global Racing Network Partnerships Manager Kerry Gatten commented: "We are delighted to offer Penn's first-rate content to a global audience and increase the awareness of the valuable content US racetracks have to offer. It is exciting that we get to deliver Penn's extensive racing content into our network of operators globally."

BetMakers recently signed an agreement with Caesars Entertainment to become the exclusive provider of pari-mutuel betting racing services for its Nevada retail sportsbook locations.

The company plans to continue its US focus by contracting racing content for delivery in New Jersey and by contracting licensed bookmakers to deliver fixed odds racing and other services statewide.

Penn National operates 44 properties in 20 states and offers legal sports betting in 13 states.

Penn has recently activated Have A Game Plan in all of Penn National’s brick-and-mortar sportsbook locations. It promotes Have A Game Plan responsible sports betting content on its Barstool Sportsbook digital platforms and social media accounts.
