Kambi Group plc, the sports betting provider, has agreed to a contract extension with Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment. Greenwood Gaming is the owner and operator of betPARX and Pennsylvania’s largest casino gaming complex, Parx Casino.
The original contract was first signed between the two groups in November of 2018. The new expanded agreement will see Kambi continue providing Greenwood Gaming with its technology and services, including its Bet Builder product.
At the moment, Greenwood Gaming is currently active with a Kambi-powered sportsbook at Parx Casino in Pennsylvania. The group also has retail partners in Gun Lake Casino and Freehold Raceway in Michigan and New Jersey.
The betPARX online sportsbook is active in the same three states, plans are in place to add additional states in the future. Kambi itself is live in 17 states within the US and will help Greenwood Gaming expand its reach in the country.
Kambi CEO and Co-Founder Kristian Nylén said: "We are delighted to agree this contract extension with our valued partner Greenwood Gaming."
Nylén continued: "Since we first partnered in 2018, it has been fantastic to watch betPARX grow from a local operator in the Philadelphia area to a nationally recognized brand, and I am pleased that Kambi will continue to support the operator on its journey as it expands further across the United States."
Matthew Cullen, betPARX Senior Vice President of Interactive Gaming and Sports, said: “betPARX is thrilled to continue working with Kambi and their award-winning technology as we grow our new, exciting brand nationally."
Kambi has over 40 customers, including ATG, Churchill Downs Incorporated, Kindred Group, LeoVegas, Penn National Gaming and Rush Street Interactive.
betPARX operates iGaming and online/mobile-first sports betting products in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan, and Ohio, with hopes of extending its reach with Kambi.
