Its live casino will offer a host of new games, bolstering its existing slot machine presence in the state.

Evolution has announced that it has gone live in West Virginia, offering a wide-range of live casino games for operators in the Mountain State.

West Virginia operators have access to Evolution's wide range of online live casino games for this market, with the first live dealer games for online players including ultimate Texas hold'em, live roulette, lightning roulette, blackjack, infinite blackjack and three card poker.

All of these Evolution games are streamed live from the company’s state-of-the-art studio in Pennsylvania. Evolution first opened a live casino in New Jersey in 2018, expanding to Pennsylvania and Michigan, with Connecticut to follow.

West Virginia will become the fourth state to operate Evolution’s live casino, having run its slot machines since September 2020. Evolution’s group brand NetEnt provided these popular slot machines to the Mountain State, where this type of gambling is particularly popular.

Slot machines were first legalized there in 1994,and now West Virginia’s five casinos and 1,470 video lottery terminal (VLT) retailers boast 9,000 slot machines.

Evolution Commercial Director North America Jeff Millar says: “We are so happy to bring our live dealer games to players in West Virginia. We are sure online players will absolutely love what they see and the experience of playing live at the tables, just as they would in a real land- based casino."

Evolution was founded in 2006 and has grown steadily since, winning multiple awards for its pioneering live casino software. They have offices across Europe and count Bet Victor, Bwin party, Intralot, William Hill and Ladbrokes among their customers.
