The largest fine was levied against CDC Bucks County for $17,000.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has approved three consent agreements with fines totaling $32,500. The agreements were presented by the PGCB Office of Enforcement Counsel.

Fines were issued against CDC Bucks County, Stadium Casino Westmoreland and TDN Money Systems in the amounts of $17,000, $7,500 and $7,500 respectively.

The state’s gaming control board is responsible for overseeing gambling activity for 16 land-based casinos, as well as for online casino games, retail and online sports wagering and video gaming terminals (VGTs). Its jurisdiction also includes qualified truck stops. The board regulates online fantasy sports contests.

CDC Bucks County runs a Chickie’s and Pete’s restaurant inside Parx Casino. The company was issued a $17,500 fine due to a series of incidents involving six patrons who were overserved alcohol in the restaurant. All six displayed signs of visible intoxication while dining inside.

The PGCB levied a fine against Stadium Casino Westmoreland because a self-excluded individual who was gambling at the table games received a cash advance at Pittsburgh Casino. Stadium Casino Westmoreland failed to identify the self-excluded patron and did not revoke gaming, check cashing and other gambling-related privileges, which led to the $7,500 fine.

A $7,500 fine was also issued against TDN Money Systems when the company failed to provide the gaming control board with a change of control notification within the required time frame. The wholly owned company was divested to two additional licensed individuals.

The board designated TDN Money Systems as a manufacturer designee, which is why the company is subject to specific reporting requirements and deadlines.
