IGT releases its Cobalt 27 VLTs in Manitoba for Canadian debut
The first installment is in connection with the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation.
International Game Technology PLC (IGT) has announced its Canadian debut of the 960 Cobalt 27 video lottery terminals (VLT). IGT will release its VLTs to the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation (MBLL).
This is the company’s first Canadian installment of its Cobalt VLT.
Cobalt 27 VLT is designed with distinct operator needs in mind. Its features include an optional 24-inch topper, a static five-button player panel, two high-definition 27-inch screens and integrated cabinet lighting.
VLT Players in Manitoba will have access to well-known IGT titles, including Temple of Fire Cash Eruption, Big City 5’s, Five Times Pay, Power Keno and Double Double Bonus Poker.
The Wild Life Extreme, a new company brand-extension theme of its The Wild Life, will also be available to Manitoba players.
IGT Senior Vice Present, Canada South and Central America, David Flinn commented: “IGT’s Cobalt VLT has gained positive momentum across the US, Latin America and Europe, and we are very excited to build on that success in Manitoba.

IGT is a global software making and gaming specialist. The company reported the highest full-year operating income in its history during 2021, topping out at $902m. It also generated $770m in free cash flow and more than $1bn in cash from its operations during the year.
IGT achieved another company first a year ahead of schedule by lowering its net debt by $1.4bn, bringing it to the lowest level it has ever had.
