Human resource representatives from several casinos will be conducting interviews for immediate hire during the job fair.

The Casino Association of New Jersey (CANJ) has partnered with the New Jersey Division of Gaming (DGE). Together they will host a citywide job fair on June 2, 2022 from 10am to 3pm at the Atlantic City Convention Center, which is located at 1 Convention Boulevard.

Several local casino representatives will be on site, including human research personnel from Bally’s, Borgata, Caesars, Golden Nugget, Hard Rock, Harrah’s, Ocean Resorts and Tropicana.

They will be taking applications and conducting interviews for several casino and hotel positions. Some of the jobs available include hotel housekeeping staff, table games dealers, food and beverage servers, security officers and various culinary positions.

Atlantic City job seekers will have a chance to apply for open spots and conduct same-day interviews. Those who apply will be eligible for immediate hire during the job fair.

According to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, Atlantic City’s casinos currently employ nearly 22,000 full-time and part-time workers. Casinos throughout the city have been focused on recovering from the time they spent closed during the Covid-19 pandemic. During 2020, Atlantic City’s casinos were closed for 107 days at the height of the nationwide shutdowns.

CANJ is a trade organization that focuses on protecting jobs throughout the state and creating new job opportunities for New Jersey residents. The organization is committed to supporting Atlantic City’s gaming economy and casino industry by encouraging continued growth.

CANJ works with small businesses, Atlantic City stakeholders and with the general public. It is an advocate for initiatives and legislation that support Atlantic City’s improvement through the casino industry.
