The report reflects a company commitment to humanitarian causes and positive environmental changes.

MGM Resorts International has refreshed its website and has published its 2021 Social Impact and Sustainability Report. Both provided updates on the company’s ongoing commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles.

The company reported several partnerships and charitable contributions throughout 2021. MGM Resorts partnered with the Nevada Blind Children's Foundation and Junior Achievement of Greater Washington to enhance high school academic programs.

MGM Resorts expanded its Courageous Conversations program, an employee discussion forum designed to foster internal inclusion, diversity and equity in the workplace as well as in the community.

The company report reflected a total of more than three million donated meals since 2016 to combat worldwide hunger. In addition to its humanitarian efforts, it announced that the company has completed its MGM Resorts Solar Array project dedicated to utilizing renewable energy.

The new website features a section that describes the company continuing approach to its ESG goals.

MGM Resorts CEO and President Bill Hornbuckle said: "Last year was a time of economic change and disruption, but with it came heightened reflection, ultimately resulting in renewed commitment to embracing humanity and protecting the planet.

"We remain committed to achieving our long-term social impact and sustainability goals and are pleased by the progress we made to that end in 2021."

Chief People, Inclusion and Sustainability Officer Jyoti Chopra commented: "During a transformative and turbulent year, we witnessed the enduring commitment of our employees to focus on and take care of our customers and colleagues.

“We finished the year a stronger and more resilient company, ready to continue our commitment to our guests, our employees, the planet and the communities in which we operate."

MGM Resorts and BetMGM joined the American Gaming Association and became official partners of its “Have A Game Plan. Bet Responsibly” campaign in September 2021.

Responsible gaming education remains a key focus as BetMGM continues to expand its sports betting platform to new jurisdictions. BetMGM also provides resources to help customers play responsibly.
