DraftKings has published its 2021 Sustainability Report. The report contains company insights into its environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives, as well as updates on DraftKings’ progress in these areas.
During the past year, DraftKings has coordinated with several foundations and charities to support its ongoing ESG goals. DraftKings donated close to $4m to various local, national and international charities during the year.
The company shared in its report a concentrated effort with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant a million trees throughout the year to improve air quality.
The company also provided no-cost skills training to more than 200 veterans through its Tech for Heroes program and supported ongoing breast cancer research and natural disaster relief efforts through companywide fundraising.
It shared in the report its continuing commitment to encourage responsible gambling as well.
