Barbados Royals lands Mega Casino World as their principal sponsor

The Royals Sports Group announced its new principal sponsor for the upcoming Caribbean Premier League season.

Mega Casino World (MCW) has partnered with the Royals Sports Group to become the principal sponsor for the Barbados Royals. This partnership will be underway at the start of the upcoming Caribbean Premier League season.

As part of the new partnership, Mega Casino World will facilitate engagement opportunities and activations and have its logo on the Royals' shirt. It will begin these activations as the CPL season gets under way.

Michael Fordham, the Chief Executive Officer of the Royals Sports Group said: "We’re very happy to have MCW on board as our principal partner for the upcoming season. Our aim has always been to connect and work with partners that share a global vision, a vision that enables the collective partnership to prosper."

Fordham went on to say, "For us at Barbados Royals, fans are always the priority and with MCW on board, we’re really excited to see the new ways in which we can collaborate to bring the best experience to our fans worldwide."

The Mega Casino World Marketing Director, Lee Yong Fuk, spoke on the partnership as well: "We’re very happy to be associated with a global brand in the Royals Sports Group. We feel there is a lot of passion and love for the game in Barbados and through this partnership we wish to enhance fans’ experience of cricket off the field."

They continued: "With the Royals Sports Group onboard, we feel we have access to a global fan-base that can help us propel our offerings and create a more global imprint.” 

The Barbados Royals, are two-time Caribbean Premier League champions, winning in 2014 and 2019.
