The company has also provided an update regarding its operations in Illinois.

Full House Resorts, an operator of casino properties across the country, has announced the appointment of John Ferrucci as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President.

Following this appointment, Ferrucci will be tasked with the brand’s goal of opening The American Place in Illinois, as well as the continued operation of the Silver Slipper Casino Hotel in Hancock County, Mississippi.

Ferrucci has had a long career in the gaming sector, beginning his working life at Harrah’s Atlantic City as a table games dealer. Following this, the new COO held roles in the Bahamas before returning to the USA and specifically Mississippi.

First joining Full House in 2004, as a member of the development team at the Silver Slipper Casino, Ferrucci has remained with the company for almost two decades.

"I am pleased to promote John Ferrucci to our new role of Chief Operating Officer," said Daniel R. Lee, President and CEO of Full House Resorts.

"Under his leadership, the Silver Slipper has reached new levels of profitability. He has helped develop talent throughout our company, including acting as a mentor for the general managers of Bronco Billy's and Rising Star.

“His hands-on management style, as well as his experience in opening four casinos, will serve us well as we prepare for new levels of growth, beginning with our planned opening of The Temporary this summer."

Full House has also provided an update on the planned American Place project in Waukegan, Illinois. Specifically, the brand has purchased 10 acres of land adjacent to its existing 30 acres. The operator will use this new land to provide additional parking spaces for the soon-to-open casino.
