This is IGT’s second sports betting expansion into the Evergreen State; the first came in December 2021.

International Game Technology (IGT) has once again expanded the presence of its sports betting offering in Washington State. The supplier has signed a multi-year agreement with Kalispel Tribal Economic Authority, the tribal entity that owns and operates the Kalispel Casino in Cusick.

Per the terms of this agreement, IGT will provide its PlaySports platform to the operator as it looks to launch its retail sportsbook in the near future.

"IGT is pleased to build on our sports betting momentum in Washington State and bolster our long-standing partnership with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians by powering sports betting at Kalispel Casino," said Joe Asher, President of Sports Betting at IGT.

"We look forward to bringing a great sports betting experience to the Kalispel Casino so that our long-time partner can further engage its customers."

This marks IGT’s second sports betting venture into the Evergreen State. This first came in December 2021 when the industry stalwart launched its PlaySports platform at the Turf Club Sportsbook at the Northern Quest Resort and Casino in Airway Heights.

The leadership at the Kalispel Casino is eager to implement this sports betting technology as the appetite for the activity continues to grow.

"We're excited to roll out sports betting for our guests at Kalispel Casino," said Kevin Zenishek, Kalispel Casino, Executive Director of Casino Operations.

"It has already proven to be a fantastic new amenity at Northern Quest and we know it will be popular at our Kalispel Casino as well."

IGT is set to announce its 2021 financial results on March 1. Recently, the brand confirmed that it has signed a five-year central systems contract extension with Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation to provide its IGT Intelligen video lottery platform.
