Christopher Bell will lead the group as Non-Executive Chair.

Nueva Codere has formed its new Board of Directors following a meeting of the company’s shareholders this week. The board, which will consist of eight members, will be the top brass at the gaming operator.

Led by Christopher Bell, who holds the position of Non-Executive Chair, the board will consist of eight members in total. Bell will act as an Independent Director for the company; he will be joined by three other “Class A” directors.

Indeed, Aidan De Brunner will also take on the role of Independent Director. Brunner has over two decades of board experience, currently sitting on the boards of a number of companies including The Trafford Group and Morgan Stanley.

The Qualifying Shareholder Director position will be filled by Antonio Moya-Angeler. This director has spent the last 15 years with the LatAm-based Advent International, holding the position of Managing Director and Member of the Investment Committee for Latin America.

The last of the company’s Class A directors is Vicente Di Lorto, who is set to continue on in his current position of Corporate Director.

As outlined in the operator’s statement, the Class B directors will be Laurence Biver, Isabelle Lambert, Mathieu Kakal and Sandra Egan.

Speaking on this move, Bell said: “I believe that Nueva Codere has a promising future. The capacity and experience of the management team, together with the talent of the directors who accompany me, make me very optimistic about the new phase that the company is starting.”
