Crossover promotions will allow FanDuel users to play Mohegan casino games.

Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) and FanDuel Group on Tuesday launched real money online gaming for residents and visitors to the state of Connecticut.

The two companies said MoheganSunCasino.com, the Mohegan Sun Casino app, and the FanDuel Sportsbook app now are available in the Constitution State on iOS and Android.

MGE said new online Mohegan Sun Casino players can play their first day risk-free up to $1,000. Site credit will be applied to new users accounts within 72 hours of the end of the bonus period

The operator said its app includes a number of features, including slots and table games that can be found on the Mohegan Sun’s gaming floor, plus blackjack, roulette and video poker, with the ability to cash out winnings securely and quickly.

“Numerous account protections will be available to players, reflecting the strong shared commitment to responsible gaming by Mohegan Sun and FanDuel,” the two parties said in a statement.

In addition to the standalone app, a version of the Mohegan Sun Casino will be available within the FanDuel Sportsbook app. The two companies said this will allow new casino players to either sign up for a casino account or use their existing FanDuel Fantasy or Sportsbook account to log in and play.

FanDuel said new users of its Sportsbook app in Connecticut may place a special, risk-free first bet up to $1,000. FanDuel will refund the amount of a customer's first wager, up to $1,000, within 72 hours.

FanDuel said its Sportsbook app now can be used to place wagers anywhere in the state across professional and college football, basketball, baseball, golf, MMA, boxing, soccer and tennis, with a variety of betting and payment options available.

The Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook launched at Bow & Arrow Sports Bar on September 30. A permanent Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook, which will be 11,000 square feet, featuring a 140-foot video wall, full bar and dining options, is scheduled to open this winter.

Mohegan Sun added it will be home to a “Sunshine Video Horror Escape Room Experience” set in the 1980s. Beginning October 21 and lasting through November 7, Mohegan Sun guests 21 and over who download the new real money Mohegan Sun Casino app on their phone (or sign up via MoheganSunCasino.com on Mac or PC) will be able to book a trip through the Horror Escape Room Experience for free, and enjoy a drink special on the house at the final stage. The experience takes place at The Shops at Mohegan Sun, and $50,000 will be awarded to one lucky guest who signs up for a new Mohegan Sun Casino account.
