New location in Dover is reprise of partnership between DraftKings, Filotimo and the state lottery.

The New Hampshire Lottery, DraftKings Inc. and Filotimo Casino & Restaurant have announced the opening of another retail sportsbook in the state, this one located in Rollinsford, near Dover, at 887 Central Avenue.

This expands on an existing partnership between the entities, making the Rollinsford location the third in the state after two opened in 2020 in Manchester and Seabrook. The arrangement sees the Boston-based DraftKings Sportsbook set up shop in a Filotimo Casino and share revenue with the state lottery. DraftKings is the lottery’s exclusive sports betting provider.

“The new DraftKings Sportsbook at Filotimo in Dover will further cement New Hampshire as the premier sports betting destination in the northeast,” said Charlie McIntyre, the executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery. “We know this location will continue to make a positive impact on our ongoing efforts to maximize revenue for our schools here in New Hampshire.”

The Dover location promises not to skimp on amenities. Designed as a traditional sports bar, there will be betting kiosks, 11 television sets, food and drink, and other features such as bowling, an arcade, games of chance and bingo. Through the football season, it will be open on weekends from 10 AM until a half-hour after the whistle is blown on the final game and on weekdays from 11:30 AM until a half-hour after.

Mobile sports betting has proved immensely popular in the state since becoming legal on December 30, 2019. When tallied with retail sports betting, bettors have placed over 16 million wagers worth nearly $660 million.
