Boyd Pay Wallet has begun its field trial in Nevada, powered by Aristocrat’s digital wallet technology.

Boyd Gaming and Aristocrat have today confirmed the launch of Boyd Pay Wallet in the state of Nevada. This cashless payment solution focuses on table games and is powered by Aristocrat’s proprietary wallet technology.

This initial launch is in the form of a field trial and follows the release of Boyd’s cashless technology for slot machines in Nevada, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana.

"Innovation and improving the guest journey is at the heart of everything we do, and our industry-leading mobile offerings are a testament to that," said Cath Burns, executive vice president of customer experience solutions for Aristocrat Gaming.

"With this technology, we're committed to deliver best-in-class experiences for both patrons and operators throughout the guest journey."

The field trial is taking place at the Boyd-operated Aliante Casino Hotel and Spa in North Las Vegas. The wallet is available via Boyd’s B Connected app, a platform developed in partnership with Genesis Gaming.

Blake Rampmaier, senior vice president and chief information officer for Boyd Gaming, added: "Boyd Pay is another example of our commitment to leverage technology to enhance the guest experience at our properties. Boyd Gaming continues to add industry-best mobile cashless wagering and contactless solutions in partnership with Aristocrat to drive mobile innovation in a secure and exciting environment for our patrons."

Aristocrat is licensed in over 300 gaming jurisdictions and operates in 90 countries, the company is one of the largest distributors of Class III games as well as Class II products for Native American casinos and emerging markets.
