The sports betting broadcast first launched in June.

As previously reported by Gaming America, Parleh Media Group, the creator of the sports betting news channel Parleh, has announced the launch of Parleh TV, Canada’s first dedicated sports betting broadcast network.

The company has this week announced an agreement with the media software solutions provider Bitcentral to power the channel.

Parleh TV will utilize Bitcentral’s broadcast and production workflow tool, Fuel, to power its platform. The broadcast network will host a number of programs including Parleh’s hockey betting show, Parleh Today, Parleh Picks, Footy Talks, Five A Side, Fast Money EPL and Spreadzies.

“We are thrilled to be working with Parleh Media Group on this innovative project to reach sports fans with their unique content; perfectly aligned to support the rapid growth of sports betting”, says Greg Morrow, general manager of Fuel.

“Our Fuel solution will deliver a broadcast-quality user experience to Parleh TV viewers and provide a scalable platform for the syndication of The Parleh content across many channels.”

Kevin Kennedy, president and executive producer of Parleh Media Group, added: “From NFL over/unders and weekly CFL winners to dark-horse picks for the Stanley Cup, The Parleh has taken the unknown out of sports betting and is making it fun and entertaining for the everyday sports fan.”

“Our social accounts are already a must follow, and now with Parleh TV we can be there for Canadians 24/7 to help them get through all the clutter and data so they can be informed and entertained when they make a casual bet.”

In a statement, Parleh affirmed its intentions to launch new shows in the coming weeks and months ahead.
