The MASL represents 16 teams across the United States and Mexico.

Announced today, Stephen Crystal’s SCCG Management and the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) have agreed a partnership to bring the sporting event to the US sports betting market.

Per the agreement, SCCG will work to make the MASL a prominent player in the North American sports betting market.

Shep Messing (pictured), chairman of the MASL, said: "Live sport content in North America and worldwide is at the intersection of combining with sports gambling. Stephen Crystal and SCCG is at the forefront of that industry, and we are excited to partner with him to find the best opportunities for the Major Arena Soccer League."

Different to other soccer leagues, the MASL is played indoors and represents 16 teams across Mexico and the United States. A key feature of the sport is its high-scoring games and quick counter-attacks. The 2021-22 league begins in November.

"Live sport content in North America and worldwide is at the intersection of combining with sports gambling. Stephen Crystal and SCCG is at the forefront of that industry," continued Messing.

The MASL’s executive leadership team consists of Messing, Keith Tozer, and JP Dellacamera.

Crystal, founder, and CEO of SCCG Management noted of the partnership: "We are focused on broadening the options of US sports betting by opening up engagement to the largest possible set of sports fans. Sport in the US is a big tent, and our work with MASL helps drive this important aspect of industry growth."

SCCG specializes in investing in and developing brands for the land-based casinos, iGaming, esports, sports betting, and entertainment markets.
