The Washington State property to utilize IGT’s PlaySports platform.

International Game Technology (IGT) has today announced that its US-focused sports betting platform PlaySports will be used by the Angel of Winds Casino Resort in Arlington, Washington State.

"Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort patrons will be able to experience this new and exciting form of gaming from anywhere on our property, thanks to IGT's omnichannel PlaySports platform," said Travis O'Neil, Angel of The Winds Casino Resort CEO.

"IGT's comprehensive PlaySports solution, paired with the company's extensive experience and expertise, will enable us to offer a world-class sports betting operation for many years to come."

Per the agreement, the casino, which is operated by the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians, will leverage IGT’s turnkey solution for both retail and on-premise mobile sports betting as the market continues to grow throughout the country.

"As the leading choice for US operators to power their sports betting enterprises, IGT PlaySports is thrilled to add Angel of The Winds Casino Resort to our growing list of customers," said Enrico Drago, IGT CEO digital & betting.

"Our proven all-in-one PlaySports technology was designed to offer maximum flexibility for operators of all sizes to seamlessly establish exciting sports betting programs."

Earlier this month, IGT was selected by the Connecticut Lottery Corporation for a management lottery contract that will run through to 2033. The system, which is expected to launch in April 2023, will provide the state with IGT’s full lottery system.

"IGT has a strong reputation of being a quality lottery system provider, and for modernizing its system and its related components," said Greg Smith, Connecticut Lottery Corporation president & CEO. "The Connecticut Lottery Corporation is looking forward to using the Aurora system, and working with the IGT staff to continue our strong sales performance and deliver exceptional player and retailer experiences."
