FSB today announced that the company has reached an agreement to launch its sports betting self-service kiosks across 11 AGT-operated casinos in Deadwood, South Dakota.
Mike Van Ermen, vice president of pre-sales, North America, of FSB, said: “This is a tremendous step forward for FSB as we continue to make progress in the North American market.
“AG Trucano has an outstanding reputation in South Dakota and we’re delighted to be building this partnership with them. This deal is testament to the strength of our localized retail offering and the huge progress that FSB has made in 2021 in the US and globally. It’s great to see our momentum continuing.”
This move into South Dakota reflects the company’s efforts to expand its US presence, which began with the appointment of a new North American leadership team earlier this year.
Mike Van Ermen, and vice president of operations, Bob Akeret, joined from Circa Sports and Resorts Digital Gaming respectively to aid in the company’s US growth
Per the terms of the agreement, two of AGT’s casinos, will be supported by FSB’s over-the-counter EPOS solution.
Bart Hamm, president and owner at AGT, commented: “With the legalization of sports betting in the city of Deadwood in 2020, we were keen to find a technically advanced US based team who would help us operate a retail sportsbook in our properties.
“FSB has a unique retail offering that gives us control and flexibility while allowing us to offer our patrons a sensational sports betting experience.”
AGT first launched in South Dakota in 1989 and currently operates 600 slot machines across the city of Deadwood. On top of the kiosks, this deal will see AGT run a single retail sportsbook for its 11 casinos.
Mike Trucano, founder and consultant to AGT, added: “It’s been a pleasure working with FSB’s Business Development Manager, Lisa Waterfield and Mike on this agreement. We’ve been hugely impressed by their retail solution and look forward to distributing the FSB SSBT kiosks across 11 of our casinos.”
