Marks the company’s second launch as part of its multi-state partnership with Caesars Entertainment Corp.

Kindred Group, through its flagship betting platform Unibet, has today announced the launch of a mobile sportsbook in Iowa designed to coincide with the start of the football season.

Per the agreement, Kindred will be authorized to operate a sportsbook throughout the state for the next 10 years, with an option to add two more five-year periods at a later date.

This news comes as part of a multi-year agreement signed between Kindred and Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Sports fans will have the opportunity to bet on both pro and college events through the Unibet platform and the sports betting app will be available on both the Apple Store and Google Play Store.

"We are truly excited to expand our Midwest footprint via the multistate agreement with Caesars Interactive Entertainment and bring a top sports betting offering to the Iowa customers," commented Manuel Stan, SVP Kindred US. "The Iowans' passion for football is unparalleled and we are confident we can bring an exciting product just in time for the start of the football season.

Iowa marks Kindred's fifth foray into the growing US sports betting market. The company is already live in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Virginia. Unibet will also go live in Arizona imminently.
