The fighting robot competition takes place on September 4.

BattleBots, a robot combat competition, has today announced the launch of its first sponsored casino slot machine. Produced by Konami Gaming, the BattleBots slot machine is now available for viewing at Caesars Entertainment Studios ahead of the BattleBots World Championships on September 4.

This new slot will feature names of well known competitors within the BattleBots scene including Tombstone, Witch Doctor and HyperShock. The game is featured on Konami’s Dimension 75C, a slot machine with a 75-inch UHD screen.

“For more than two decades, BattleBots fans have taken part in the competition’s most exciting moments,” said Edward Roski, BattleBots creator and CEO. “Now BattleBots slots are taking robot fighting time to the casino floor as another way to join in iconic scenes and machines from the show—with a cash chance. Teams and audiences here at the 2021 World Championship event have been truly wowed by the slot game’s unique creativity and massive presence. We’re thrilled to work with Konami to bring BattleBots to the gaming arena.”

Taking place at the Caesars Entertainment Studios in Las Vegas on September 4, tickets for the event cost between $40 and $200.

“When people across the world watch BattleBots, it gives a sense of excitement, competition, curiosity and wit unlike any other competition. There is no combat sport quite like BattleBots. And there’s no casino slot quite like BattleBots,” said Tom Jingoli, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Konami Gaming, Inc. “We put the BattleBox into a casino slot—where the battle is a bonus and the Giant Nut is a Grand Jackpot.”

Konami Gaming, a Las Vegas-based subsidiary of the Konami Holdings Corporation, develops both slot machines and casino management systems for gaming companies globally.
