Appointment adds experience of global markets to the management team.

Bragg Gaming has announced that Chris Looney will join the company as its chief commercial officer.

The company has highlighted that this appointment will bring a large amount of experience of the gaming industry to the management team.

Looney has previously held senior roles at Microgaming and was also commercial director at Red Tiger Gaming.

Looney will work with Bragg CEO, Richard Carter to aid in developing Bragg Gaming’s vision for expansion in new markets, especially the United States. Bragg has stated that the company believes this appointment will see their position in the North American B2B igaming space advance.

Speaking on the appointment, Richard Carter, CEO at Bragg Gaming said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Chris to our management team. He has an impressive track record of driving growth and success, and his extensive industry knowledge will be crucial as we continue to expand globally into key markets such as the US, the UK, Italy, Canada and anticipated new market openings such as the Netherlands.”

This move comes soon after Bragg Gaming’s acquisition of igaming technology and content supplier Spin Games, as well as the Nevada-based slot developer Wild Streak Gaming.

“Bragg presented an opportunity I couldn’t turn down,” added Looney “The company’s global presence and proprietary product and content portfolio in the B2B igaming space provides a solid foundation for further expansion into new markets. In North America in particular, jurisdictions continue to evolve, regulate and open up. Bragg is well positioned to succeed in these markets and I’m excited to be part of the game plan.”

Bragg Gaming, founded in 2018, also owns ORYX Gaming, an igaming turnkey solution provider focused on European markets. They provide player engagement data as well as marketing management.
