After Virginia launched mobile sports betting in January, Gambling .com has added VirginialsForBettors .com to enhance its offering to Virginia-based customers.

The addition will join the affiliate's portfolio of brands, which provide gambling information for beginner and experienced bettors.

The new site is the Group’s latest site aimed at the Virginia market, joining Gambling .com and Bookies .com; both of which went live in January this year, with the aim of educating gambling fans.

It will offer information on how to place a bet, sportsbook reviews and information on how customers can avoid placing offshore wagers.

The site will also produce area-focused news for customers looking to learn more about local teams. The state-specific content will include news coverage of professional teams like the Capitals and the Wizards.

It will have dedicated local news writers, who will cover important local gambling topics such as horse racing and casino expansions.

Fans can also seek legal advice around gambling in Virginia; the site will explain the gambling age and how online sportsbooks and commercial casinos are allowed to operate.

They can also use the site’s tax resource, where bettors can calculate the tax paid on their winnings.

Users may also learn more from frequently asked questions which will discuss taxes, sports betting and how gambling in Virginia is regulated.
