JW Marriott Las Vegas and Rampart Casino to rebrand as The Resort at Summerlin from 2026

JW Marriott Las Vegas and Rampart Casino have announced a property-wide rebrand that will see the venue operate under a single identity, The Resort at Summerlin, from January 1, 2026.
The change forms part of a multi-year renovation program valued at $75m and reflects a broader repositioning of the resort as a fully integrated destination in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas.
The rebrand brings together the resort and casino under one name for the first time since the property opened in 1999 as the first casino resort in Summerlin.
Management said the updated identity reflects the site’s original vision as a destination offering gaming, accommodation, dining, wellness, and events within a single campus.
Michelle McHugh, VP and GM of The Resort at Summerlin, said: “Over the past 18 months, we’ve completed a significant renovation designed to revitalize and refresh the property while elevating the overall guest experience.”
McHugh added that the transformation represents a long-term investment in the resort’s future and its role within the local community.
Renovations have included upgrades to guest accommodations, public spaces, and casino facilities. Guestrooms have been redesigned to provide expanded living space and updated in-room amenities, while selected rooms feature walk-out balconies or terraces overlooking the resort’s landscaped grounds.
Improvements have also been completed at the conference center, fitness facilities, and Spa Aquae, alongside enhancements to the casino floor, including new lighting, finishes, and additional high-limit gaming areas.
Dining remains a core focus of the redevelopment. Several new restaurant concepts are scheduled to open during 2025, with additional venues planned for early 2026 as part of The Neighborhood Food Hall, complementing existing on-property dining options.
The resort has also confirmed a partnership with Caesars Entertainment to open a Caesars Sportsbook on the casino floor in early 2026. The sportsbook will replace the existing wagering area and feature upgraded audiovisual installations and self-service betting kiosks linked to the Caesars Sportsbook platform.
The rebrand follows the announcement in December 2024 of a $75m renovation program tied to the property’s 25th anniversary. That project included casino floor upgrades, new high-limit rooms, and spa enhancements, with design led by FRANK Architecture and Interiors and construction overseen by Las Vegas-based contractor Trident.
