Lotería Chaqueña expands community funding

Lotería Chaqueña, Chaco province’s state-run lottery operator, has launched a series of community initiatives ahead of its annual draw, named Deporbingo, reinforcing its role as a funding channel for sports clubs and public welfare organizations across the region.
The lottery operator confirmed that the Deporbingo 2025 draw will take place on December 13 in Resistencia, with live coverage on Somos Uno. The draw will feature five rounds with escalating prizes, starting at ARS5m ($3500) and rising through ARS7m, ARS10m and ARS20m, before awarding a double-cabin pickup truck as the final prize.
Players who purchased cards can scan QR codes printed on their certificates until noon on draw day to enter bonus prize drawings, which include an electric scooter and four 43-inch LED televisions.
Beyond the main prizes, the Deporbingo program continues to operate as a fundraising platform for grassroots clubs and community organizations. Participating institutions sell cards directly and retain 70% of proceeds, giving them an independent source of funding for sports development and social initiatives.
The program was broadened in 2024, when eligibility was extended beyond sports clubs to include all registered public welfare entities. According to Lotería Chaqueña’s Special Games Division, the model is designed to strengthen financial independence at the community level while maintaining operational backing from the provincial government.
In parallel, Lotería Chaqueña has increased its public engagement through participation in local events in Resistencia. President Lucas Apud Masin attended the inaugural edition of La Noche de las Peatonales, which turned the city center into an open-air commercial and cultural space featuring live music, street activity and extended shopping hours. The event also included prize draws for items such as motorcycles, air conditioners and televisions.
The lottery operator also joined Governor Leandro Zdero at celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the Liga Chaqueña de Fútbol, where officials unveiled the new Aeropuerto Sports Complex near Resistencia International Airport. The facility will be part of a projected sports hub serving hundreds of young athletes across the league’s member institutions.
