MGC reports 4% casino revenue growth for September 2025, eclipses $156.5m

The Missouri Gaming Commission (MGC) has released the state’s casino revenue throughout September 2025, as the 13 casino facilities which report to the regulator totaled over $156.5m in combined revenue, equating to an increase of 4%.
By gaming type, electronic gaming devices accounted for the vast majority of Missouri casino revenue for September 2025 after generating $133.5m for a mirrored rise of 4% year-over-year, while table game revenue increased 5% to produce just over $22.9m.
Despite reporting a decrease in casino revenue of 1% from the prior year period, Ameristar St. Charles still produced the highest revenue of any property located in Missouri for September 2025 with nearly $23.3m. Horseshoe Casino St. Louis reported the largest increase in casino revenue throughout September 2025, showcasing growth of 25% for a total casino revenue of $13.3m.
Hollywood Casino and River City Casino also eclipsed the $20m mark for casino revenue generated in September 2025, reporting totals of just over $21m and $21.5m, respectively, for increases of 3% and 5%. Ameristar Kansas City produced nearly $15.8m of September 2025 casino revenue but fell 4%, while Harrah’s Kansas City grew its revenue by 20% for a reported monthly revenue of $15m.
Argosy Casino and Bally’s Kansas City were the only properties in Missouri to also generate over $10m in casino revenue for September 2025, reporting $12.1m and $10.2m, respectively, but having fallen 3% and 8% from the prior year period.

Only seven properties offering table game play in Missouri reported revenues of over $1m for the gaming type, including Harrah’s Kansas City and Ameristar St. Charles which each generated table game revenues of $4.2m for an increase of 21%, but a 9% decrease for the latter.
Argosy Riverside, Hollywood Casino and River City Casino reported table game revenues of $2.4m, $3.6m and $2.7m, respectively, while Horseshoe St. Louis and Ameristar Kansas City were also able to eclipse $1m in table game revenue.
For electronic gaming devices, Ameristar St. Charles generated over $19m of revenue from the gaming type but remained stagnant year-over-year. Hollywood Casino and River City reported electronic gaming device revenues of $17.4m and $18.8m for September 2025, respectively, equating to increases of 2% and 6%.
Harrah’s Kansas City, Horseshoe St. Louis and Ameristar Kansas City produced September 2025 electronic gaming device revenues of $10.8m, $11.5m and $13.9m, respectively, representing increases of 19% and 26%, but a fall of 3% for the Ameristar Kansas City property.
