A2FBR joins Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming

The Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming (IBJR), which brings together regulated online betting companies operating in Brazil, has welcomed A2FBR to its ranks.

The addition increases IBJR’s representation to 15 active operators in the national market. IBJR was founded in March 2023 with the stated aim of engaging with policymakers and industry stakeholders on responsible gaming practices ,and regulatory development of a clear regulatory framework for the sector.

Its membership includes international brands such as bet365, Betsson Group, Entain, Flutter, Kaisen Gaming, KTO Group, LeoVegas, Novibet and Skill OnNet

A2FBR is a Brazilian iGaming group that operates six brands in Brazil: Betbra, Fulltbet, Bolsadeaposta, Pinnacle, Matchbook, and Betespecial.

It also holds two federal licenses to operate sports betting and online gaming in the country. The company joins IBJR at a time when the Brazilian government is weighing multiple legislative changes that could affect the sector’s operational framework.

Lawmakers are examining rules on marketing content and enforcement tools to block unlicensed operators.
