New Jersey gaming revenue hits $581.6m for June 2025

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has released the state’s gaming activity throughout June 2025, including a total revenue of $581.6m which equates to an 18.4% increase from the prior year period.
Casino-hotels reported a June 2025 revenue of $259m, representing growth of 6.1% year-over-year and primarily driven by slot machine win, having accounted for $182.8m of revenue for the month but falling by 0.7% from the prior year period. Table games managed to generate nearly $76.2m of revenue for June 2025, witnessing significant growth of 26.9% year-over-year.
Borgata reported the highest revenue of any New Jersey property for June 2025, generating $76.7m of casino win for a 19.4% increase from the prior year period. Hard Rock and Ocean Casino reported monthly revenues of $45.8m and $43.5m, respectively, equating to a decrease of 5.5% year-over-year for Hard Rock but an increase of 30.1% for Ocean Casino in June 2025. Caesars was the only property to report an increase in casino win along with Borgata and Ocean Casino, growing by 7.4% year-over-year to nearly $20.5m.
For iGaming, the offering continued to drive positive momentum in New Jersey with a total revenue of $230.7m throughout the month, increasing by 23.5% from the prior year period.
The sector labeled “other authorized games” by the DGE represented the vast majority of revenue collected by iGaming operators, having accounted for $228m of the monthly total and growing by 23.7% year-over-year. Peer-to-peer games produced $2.7m of revenue for June 2025, increasing by 9.4% from the prior year period.
FanDuel led all operators in iGaming revenue generated for June 2025 after reporting $53.3m for June 2025, representing an increase of 48.2% year-over-year. DraftKings managed to generate $43.6m of iGaming revenue in New Jersey throughout June 2025, equating to growth of 6.3% from the prior year period, while BetMGM accounted for $30.2m of and increased its iGaming revenue by 35.3% year-over-year.

Borgata, Caesars Palace and Hard Rock Bet were the only fellow iGaming operators to surpass the $10m revenue mark for June 2025, producing $20m, $16.9m and $13.5m, respectively, for increases of 12.3%, 49.2% and 40.3% from the prior year period.
Sports wagering also managed to increase its revenue year-over-year according to the DGE, rising by 52.9% for a June 2025 revenue of $91.9m, vastly driven by online betting which accounted for just over $91.2m of the total. Online wagering witnessed an increase in revenue of 55% from the prior year period, while retail sports betting fell by 48.5% year-over-year to report approximately $600k in revenue for June 2025.
FanDuel once again reported the highest revenue for online sports wagering of any operator, generating $35.8m in New Jersey for June 2025 and increasing by 22.9% from the prior year period. DraftKings held onto its second-place positioning with a June 2025 online wagering revenue of nearly $24.3m, having risen by 69.2% year-over-year. BetFanatics witnessed an incredible 571.3% increase for its revenue throughout the month, reporting $12m of mobile betting revenue for the period.
In June 2025, New Jersey’s total betting handle was reported to be $790.4m – of which $755m was generated from online play – while the year-to-date handle for 2025 was over $6bn according to the DGE. Up to this point, operators have produced over $558.2m of total revenue, equating to a hold percentage of 9.2% in 2025.
