Scientific Games has expanded upon its partnership with the DC Lottery to offer residents of the nation’s capital its SG Content Hub, which includes a portfolio of over 250 games developed by SG Game Studios and various licensed brands.
DC Lottery and Scientific Games originally formed its partnership when the Lottery was first created in 1982, providing DC Scratchers and eventually eInstant games. Since its inception, the DC Lottery has awarded over $4.8bn in prizes, transferred more than $2.4bn to the District’s General Fund, generated approximately $501.4m in retail commissions and helped local nonprofits raise over $139.5m in support of social causes.
“We are excited to bring our global expertise, content and technology to the DC Lottery with an evolutionary content aggregator developed to offer players an exciting portfolio of iLottery games, with the agility to adapt to play preferences and market trends,” Scientific Games President of Digital Matt Lynch said.
“The engaging variety of digital lottery games offered through the SG Content Hub ensures long-term sustainable growth for the DC Lottery and its beneficiary programs in the District of Columbia.”
The lottery retailer also stated Washington DC players have already gained access to titles such as Mayhem Madness, with additional releases including Candy Coated Cash and Witchy Wins to come in the fall.

“The DC Lottery is thrilled to offer our players a wide selection of new and exciting games through the SG Content Hub,” DC Lottery Executive Director Randy Burnside said.
“We are building on our success with DC Scratchers from Scientific Games and the company’s deep understanding of lottery players and the entertainment experience.”
The SG Content Hub was created to operate across both lottery gaming systems and iLottery platforms in the hopes of serving a “rapidly expanding” digital lottery channel according to Scientific Games.
