Authorities in Belo Horizonte are investigating influencer Alicya Ribeiro and her partner Eduardo Magalhães for allegedly promoting illegal online betting platforms, including the controversial Fortune Tiger, known in Brazil as Jogo do Tigrinho.
During a police operation at their residence, police seized BR700,000 in assets, including luxury vehicles and electronics.
According to delegate Marcelle Bacellar, Ribeiro was paid approximately BR100,000 monthly to promote gambling platforms through affiliate links, some of which reportedly redirected users to predetermined losses.
The influencer reportedly told police she had anticipated an eventual investigation. Magalhães was arrested on the spot for illegal possession of firearms but was released on bail.
The couple’s legal team claims all seized property was acquired legally. They also stated that Ribeiro is not only an influencer but a prominent adult content creator and that Magalhães is a businessman with a declared income that supports their assets.

Their defence intends to present documents verifying the origins of the seized goods and has stated the couple is willing to cooperate once granted access to the police report.
Authorities indicated that Ribeiro may face charges related to the illegal operation of gambling, consumer rights violations and potential money laundering. The investigation is ongoing.
