GCGRA grants Aristocrat gaming-related UAE vendor license

This gives the supplier the green light to offer both land-based and online games to GCGRA operators.
Key Points
- The GCGRA oversees gaming in the UAE
- Aristocrat is the first international provider to gain this license, which applies to both land-based and online gaming
- Aristocrat took home three trophies at the Global Gaming Awards Americas 2024
The General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) has approved Aristocrat Gaming for a gaming-related vendor license.
The GCGRA is a federal entity that oversees commercial gaming in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This approval will allow Aristocrat to offer other GCGRA licensed operators its land-based electronic gaming machines (EGMs), along with its online games and technology solutions.
CEO Hector Fernandez took a moment to celebrate the company’s latest approval.
He commented, “We are honored to be the first large, international technology provider to be awarded a gaming-related vendor license to serve the UAE market.
“At Aristocrat, our vision is to deliver the best seat in the house wherever, and whenever the world plays. We look forward to doing so by providing premium content for players in the UAE while simultaneously encouraging responsible gameplay.”
During this year’s G2E in Las Vegas, the company unveiled its latest slot series, Phoenix Link, which the company said is scheduled for launch next month.
Good to know: The series is comprised of four titles that include Confucious Say, General Tso, Queen Chiu and Sensei Master
Similar to Dragon Link, the Phoenix Link games offer players a chance to earn large bonuses through a hold-and-spin feature. The series will also be available with multiple denominations and configurations that can give slot players more changes to win additional jackpots.
However, this title differs from the Dragon Link series because players can get a feature that revives the bonus round to give opportunities for additional wins.
Meanwhile, Aristocrat won not one but three times at the Global Gaming Awards Americas earlier this month.
