Tropicana Atlantic City to launch new Solana tower by January 2026

Tropicana Atlantic City is set to debut its new Solana hotel tower in early 2026, as work on the renovation is expected to begin after Labor Day on September 1 with an anticipated completion date set for January of next year. 

“We are thrilled to offer our guests a new, elevated hospitality experience with the addition of Solana Tower,” Tropicana Atlantic City SVP and GM Joe Giunta said. 

“Bright, breezy and brimming with character—these room enhancements blend playful coastal charm with a nod to vintage Atlantic City. The new rooms offer a vibrant, welcoming escape that’s as fun as it is approachable.”

The 604-room and suite transformation was said to “strengthen” Tropicana’s commitment to maintaining its status as a preferred destination in Atlantic City while providing an enhanced stay experience for guests.

The Solana hotel tower will reportedly draw inspiration from Tropicana Atlantic City’s Palm Walk, which features grand palm trees along the property’s casino floor.

The rooms feature soft wood tones, tropical patterns and accents that set a “light and inviting tone,” as curated artwork and details attempt to offer a relaxed and refined stay for consumers.
