BetMGM has been named an Official Sports Betting Partner of Richard Childress Racing, one of NASCAR’s premier teams.

The partnership, first of its kind between an operator and a NASCAR team, will include BetMGM sponsoring on RCR cars during select NASCAR in the upcoming season.

“BetMGM is at the forefront of the sports betting and online gaming industry and Richard Childress Racing can certainly relate to their passionate vision,” said Richard Childress, Chairman and CEO of RCR. “This innovate relationship will provide opportunities to collaborate in new and groundbreaking ways.”

BetMGM previously signed a multi-year partnership to serve as an authorized gaming partner of NASCAR. BetMGM possesses rights to NASCAR marks. The operator said last summer that NASCAR turnover has grown by nearly 1,300% in the first half of 2020.

By partnering with RCR, BetMGM will align itself with some of NASCAR’s top up-and-coming drivers including Austin Dillon and Tyler Reddick.

“Richard Childress Racing is one of the most respected and formidable teams in motorsports,” said Matt Provost, BetMGM’s Chief Revenue Officer. “Together we will develop compelling marketing opportunities and activations that introduce the BetMGM sports betting brand to NASCAR fans worldwide.”

The NASCAR season kicks off on Feb. 14 with the Daytona 500. The series will race in Las Vegas the first weekend of March.
