Daily fantasy sports company Dober Games has launched its Dober Dojo title, which departs from traditional forced-pairing models currently available.
With Dober Dojo, users can create their own head-to-head matchups, a feature that allows “an almost infinite number of game combinations.”
Users can choose any two athletes to design a play. Their selections then face off in a match, leveraging an AI-driven point spread system, which balances the matchup.
The company further explained the title’s concept in a statement, “By allowing users to pair any two eligible athletes, Dober Dojo promotes fresh, unexpected matchups.
“Whether a user wants to challenge a superstar with an underdog or pit two closely matched competitors against each other, the system calculates a suitable spread that maintains excitement and fair play.”
The company expects the new release to appeal to both novice and experienced players.
Dober Games said, “Novice players benefit from an intuitive way to understand matchups—simply select the athletes and track their in-game performance—while experienced players and fantasy experts gain a powerful tool for creating unique showdowns and testing data-driven predictions.”
