New Jersey gaming win reported to be $546.1m for March 2025; iGaming win increases 23.7%

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has reported financial results from the state’s gaming properties, including revenue from casino, iGaming and sports wagering throughout March 2025. During the period, total gaming win was reported to be $546.1m, representing an increase of 3.7% year-over-year and primarily driven by iGaming win, which grew by 23.7% from the prior year period to report a total of $243.9m.
Casino win and sports wagering were unable to generate similar results, falling by 3.7% and 20.5% year-over-year, respectively, for revenues of $230.9m and $71.3m throughout March 2025. Slot machines accounted for just over $173.6m of casino win during the period, rising by 0.5% from the prior year period but watching as table game win decreased by 14.6% for a total of nearly $57.3m.
Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa reported the highest casino revenue of any property during the period with $58.4m, having also been one of only two properties to generate an increase year-over-year with growth of 3.3%. Hard Rock Atlantic City was the other property to generate a rise in casino win from the prior year period, growing by 0.2% for a total of $44.5m during March 2025.
Ocean Casino Resort reported a casino win decrease of 14.8% from the prior year period for March 2025, generating $34.7m while the Golden Nugget managed to report $11.8m of casino win for a decrease of 13.8% year-over-year. Finally, Caesars Atlantic City generated $16.7m of casino win for a decrease of 10% from the prior year period, while Harrah’s fell by just 0.1% to still report $21m of casino win during March 2025.
For iGaming win, FanDuel reported the highest figure of any operator currently conducting business in New Jersey for March 2025, generating just under $52.3m of revenue for an increase of 25.7% from the prior year period. DraftKings was a close second with $49.6m of iGaming win throughout the period, representing an increase of 20.3% year-over-year while BetMGM grew its iGaming win by 42.8% from the prior year period to report $31.6m.
Online sports wagering accounted for the vast majority of the gaming type’s revenue throughout March 2025, having been reported to be $68m but falling by 20.6% from the prior year period. Retail wagering generated $3.3m of revenue during March 2025, decreasing by 17.3% year-over-year. FanDuel once again reported the highest online sports wagering revenue of any operator in New Jersey with $23.4m, but the figure still represents a decrease of 20.7% from the prior year period.

DraftKings and BetMGM managed to increase its online sports wagering revenue year-over-year with growth of 13.4% and 35.8%, respectively, for totals of $19.9m and $8m during March 2025. BetFanatics and Bally Bet continued to establish its presence throughout the state as well, generating revenues of $4.4m and $172.2k despite not conducting business during the prior year period.
On the retail sports wagering side, Meadowlands Racetrack accounted for over $2m of the total racetrack revenue reported from the vertical during March 2025, which decreased by 11.8% from the prior year period. Monmouth Park generated an additional $432.4k, with Freehold Raceway failing to report revenue after accounting for $214k during the prior year period.
Borgata produced the highest retail sports wagering revenue of any property for March 2025 at nearly $308.4k, increasing by 114.1% year-over-year, while Harrah’s and Ocean Casino grew by 49.5% and 802.7% from the prior year period, respectively, to report $235.5k and $229.8k. New Jersey’s total sports wagering handle for March 2025 was reported to be just over $1.1bn, while the year-to-date handle sits at nearly $3.25bn according to the DGE.
